Fish are another favorite subject as the possibilities are endless. Big Blue was made for the pleasure of creating a large whimsical fish. I used felt as the foundation for the body and fins. If you look carefully you will notice that the fins are dimensional and stand out from the fish. An eclectic mix of fabrics for the scales adds to the whimsy factor. A fussy cut, fabric covered button for the eye completes the piece.
